The Troubadour in Earl’s Court, also West London, is a legendary coffee house that opened in 1954 and has presented many of the major names in music over the years (try Bob Dylan, John Mayall or Jimi Hendrix for starters!). 2008 has seen the launch of a regular monthly blues session at the venue.

Ian McKenzie, blues performer and editor of the monthly Blues In The South newsletter, presents a radio show playing blues, gospel and the like between 4pm and 6pm (English time) on Tuesdays. Go to www.phonic.fm and click the ‘listen’ button.

Rounder Europe’s biggest selling blues act is British guitarist Danny Bryant, whose new album – his sixth, following on from last year’s extremely successful live set - Black And White will be released in March; Danny will also be touring to promote the album.
